football summer

The first half of the year always seems to fly by to me in comparison to the last. I thought this was a universal truth but after sharing this with others I find that its more subjective than I thought. I think for me its a mixture of getting lost in the motivation of  "the new year" and the goals that I set out to accomplish along with the positive vibes that I get from the weather gradually getting warmer and days becoming longer. Summer is my favourite season if it isn't obvious already. It connotes enjoying association, going outdoors, adventure and new experiences. Winter on the other hand seems to be a "lock in" phase. Phrases like "winter arc" and the fact that people like to bulk and stay indoors, not to mention the harsh weather just makes it seem like a time for preparation for the summer months.

Very recently I've been focused on becoming more isolated and spending more time with myself. I'm normally someone who cant go without talking to my friends even for a day especially when I see or remember something that applies to one of them. Memes, movies ideas etc. But this means that they also have a strong influence on me and are a key factor in my decision making. So far it feels like when you begin to isolate yourself you can see the whole pitch. You feel a little exposed ill admit when you try to defend for the first time. It's very confusing not knowing which position to be in for different scenarios. However, the feeling of being alone on the pitch doesn't really feel daunting the majority of the time. It's tranquil and therapeutic. It's also informative and lets you know what type of player you are.

I have so much more to write and it has now entered June so technically my may section went to waste. I will be hopefully writing more in June. There's something really pressing I want to share.
